um, probably should add some info on buzz.

the whole thing is orchestrated by a gui in which you create machines. 
machines are either generators or effects. you join them up however you like 
so the possibilities are endless.

EVERYTHING can be tracked, all the effects paramters, generators etc etc.

machines are created by third party developers as dlls. there are literally 
hundreds of them now, ranging from squarewave outputs to 909s and 303s, from 
simple gainers to vocoders and VST plugin loaders.

it really is an amazingly powerful tool, even in the hands of a complete 
knob.
