Is not one particular sound or proccess, infinite
different effects can be achieve via DSP on any
Digital Signal, audio or otherwise.
Some of the most used audio DSP tools:
don't forget that DSP also refers to reverb, delay, and other
"common" effects found in outboard gear or built into synths...
you often hear the term "dsp power" to indicate how many or how
compilicated a certain synth's effects are.
and yes, DSP is a very, very broad term.
