Audio samples wanted for piece...

Hyperrealists,

I'm trying to put together a new piece based on extensive samples 
from late 20th century media.  Namely, I'm looking for decent quality
recordings of televangelists, commercials, newscasts, right-wing
orators (prominent or not), TV sound tracks, and any other sound 
which in some way represents (what I regard as) wretched dead ends
in a media-rich technological society.

Back in college, I heard lots of pieces done in this vein, but I never 
bothered to find out where the composers found their sources.  If anyone
has ideas for public domain (??) sources or samples they are willing to
share, I can offer only composition credits and hairy sounds in exchange.
