well it really depends...
personally I like all the releases..but I declare I know em...but I never
committ myself to things I don't like..
The rest are all high quality...if you like the Minit release there's a fair
chance you'll like the others...
Rosy Parlane [half of Parmentier] clocks in with around 30 mins of
beautiful undulating.memersing loops...melodic/spacious/drone..
Parmentier walk a simialr line, though the loops are thick like molasses
with buried beats/rhythms...sorta like a Chain reaction Cd is being
played 6 floors below...some wonderful deep bass is VERY present..
David Haines creates piano phased loops and performance, his release
is extremely relaxing, well crafted and offers fresh insight into Reichian
fields...
of course old Vlad has been spoken of during last few days...
so...I can only say that they all require repeated listening...I often find
someone else's "weren't very good" turns out to be things I treasure..
paul
ps: the latest release, a 12" is wonderful...Conico is the artist...
soon...new 12" by Minit...the David Haines one will be THE
Sigma release for 00....it's a fuckin killer...
