won ton ton

it's long been my feeling that "it's all pop music" in regards to these short form experimental, noise, and electronic ditties. won ton is one of the LOVLIEST pop albums that i own.
i often played cuts from it in the fallabella lounge at the albion hotel in miami beach. yes, think small hotel lounge entertaining sometimes weary and aprehensive world travelers(*) looking for nuetral ground before they braved the "scary" streets of south beach, and the BAND oval's lovely music always drew comments of "how beautiful".

(*) as well as savvy, queens, south beach regulars, and birthday parties for gay boys in their uniforms of shaved heads, washboard abs, tight black t-shirts and equally tight asses.)

And am I alone in thinking that Oval's "Wonton" was its most radical
album, in that it built not experimental music but electronic guitar pop
over a bed of broken CDs?
