montreal-specific: pita, marcus schmickler, tomas jirku, shalabi effect, asyncdrone & more

mmr. rehberg & schmickler are stopping in montréal on their north
american tour & here is some info on the 2-night mini-festival they will
be a part of:

july 21: improvisational noise, free jazz, etc.
- shalabi effect (alien8; montréal)
- town & country (improv from chicago)
- sloth is the love (free jazz from montréal)
- scorbut (montréal)

july 22: all electronic fest!
- pita (mego records; vienna, austria)
- marcus schmickler (a-musik; köln, germany)
- tomas jirku (alien8/force inc/no type; toronto)
- chris clepper (powerbook from chicago)
- asyncdrone (no type; montréal/delaware)

the festival will take place in beautiful hotel2tango which also serves
as godspeed's practice space: a large room, fit for chilling to foreign
sounds of all kinds.  additionally, this will mark tomas jirku & shalabi
effect's official cd launch with alien8 recordings.

each night is $10 advance (tickets at cheap thrills, cd esoterik,
l'oblique), $12 door.  doors open 9pm.  as per usual, bring your own booze.
