[microsound] Re: G4 soundcard (was powerbook soundcard)
I have an Audiomedia III on my old G3-upgraded PowerMac (7500) and have been
very, very happy with it. It's not a flashy gimmicky card, but a trustable
workhorse -- two analog ins/outs and digital I/O, and respectable
specs. It can
be trusted, which counts for a lot these days.
But perhaps this card isn't available anymore?
i actually have an audiomedia 3 card for sale, if you're interested
in buying one ($275, usa) as i just bought and upgraded to MOTU
1224, which i *highly* recommend.. it's very punchy and clean and the
on-front VU meters for all inputs and outputs are quite handy...
