three things:
 1.  coil:eskaton 003 -- track one takes me deep into a sub-region of 
discrete gestures and essential sound eddies, burrowing beneath the skull 
into the viscera and relaxing fear and tensing up apprehension.  trk 2 has 
humor enough to make me giggle, and trk three completely removes the floor of 
logic and plunges me into a perfect crystalline world of constant molecular 
motion and multi-emotional intensities. 
 2.  coil: eskaton 14 (summer solstice) -- perfect for summer psychedelic 
sessions, the lyrics activated the dormant ideas and instincts in my  
subconscious, genetic memory ("see for yourself the summer fields"), provided 
consolation for those scary moments with shamanic declarations("the sun is 
coming!!"), and gave form to questions that itch the mind("where's the 
symmetry? where's the waveform,?where's my mother?)  the sounds are spread 
across the spectrum, from oscillating, majestic sinewaves to aching strings 
to brain-cleansing noise. this record opened up something that was dormant 
within me since birth. an indiscribable feeling of connection to the earth 
and to sound

3. autechre-cichlisuite--the mechanistic nature of the tracks revealed 
themselves to be, in my heightened perceptual awareness, living sound 
machines, their structures being organic and alive, moving in the efficient 
and chaotic motion of cell-division and evolution. the songs evolve and grow, 
creating interfaces between emotions and images that are completely new and 
fully evolved. autechre is making the MOST evolved music of anyone in our 
generation, and this album is comparable to the greatest works of music in 
the human cannon.
