you got a right to fight for political aesthetics!

wait, i think i'm confused by this uh, conversation.

sound is political on top of being an aesthetic experience. yes? by
politics i mean "star system" & many other things influencing, guess
what, aesthetic choices. but as with all politics, they do not happen
in a vacuum; they respond somewhat to actual wants & needs from the
"people" (in the dullest sense of "group that is governed"). there
would be no politics if just 2 or 3 guys were listening to this stuff.

to be more accurate, we'll say: the phenomenon of aesthetic experience
does happen to the listener/composer, though influenced by yes, politics
& many other things (context, social environment, mental/physical
condition, etc. which already influence each other anyway).

so it's okay to discuss politics _and_ aesthetics! just keep in mind
that neither is/holds the answer! let's be happy.

onto other good news, hopefully i'll keep quiet for the whole weekend as
i won't have my computer nearby.

it will be a semiological weekend.
