i use Healey Disc, it's in canada... for all of the 12k and LINE
releases... they have been very good for me.. and they're nice
people..

just to be certain i always include a letter with the masters that
says something to the effect of "dear mastering guy, this recording
contains lots of high frequencies, crackles, static, etc... this is
intentional".. blah blah blah.. just to make sure..

i also tell them under no circumstances to apply any sort of
normalizing, compression, limiting, or other dynamic processing..

canada usually has cheaper pressing plants.. and they only charge me
about $40 to overnight the finished CDs to new york.
