my  friend (nyc-based curator) astria suparak will be presenting a
film/video program titled 'broken music' in texas which includes steina
vasulka's 'violin
power' along w/ 2 videos by christian marclay, a video of a live sonic youth
performance of piano piece #13 (for nam june paik) by george maciunas, and
voice crack's 'kick that habit'.  it's a really great program if any one is
in the area. 

I think the dates are:
Oct. 21: Cinematexas Film Festival in Austin
Nov. 4,5: The Aurora Picture Show in Houston, TX
