B.S. (britney spears)



.. ahem, at what particular point did b.s. transcend her status as a gimmick
to accompany the music?  the britney spears movement has yet to strike me.
i may be wrong, but she has no talent other than mediocre singing and
dancing (christina aguilera sings better).

my roommate played one of her head numbing tracks on repeat the other day
that was complete with a hideous, highly, compressed, guitar solo.  am i
missing something?  even considering its purpose as pop music, does she have
anything to do with the music itself other than showing her pretty face
(along with other attributes) on the cd cover, and struggling to attain a
dynamic range of singing?

please inform me.  i feel left out of this obviously engaging pop music
scene.
