The first in a monthly series of audio experiments, impermanent.audio 
is a listening space for sounds emanating from the sydney music 
scene, a scene which is becoming stuck in the studio. The evening 
will become a regular event aimed at putting artists in an 
improvisational setting, developing both a language for regular 
output and regular listening.

impermanent.audio is an  environment aimed at listening and seeking 
out the impermanent in improvisation.

impermanent.audio 12/11 will include two solo sets followed by a duo.

Oren Ambarchi is a well known local improviser, releasing his guitar 
based electronic experiments through Tzadik (USA), Touch (UK), Plate 
Lunch (Germany). Oren is also known for his organisation of the 
yearly What Is Music? festival. His output has become much quieter 
than what would have been expected from him a few years ago.

D.Haines has just returned from an extremely successful European tour 
with Sigma Editions. He has two releases on the Sigma Editions label, 
the latest one entitled 'd:emo' is just out. David's music is rich in 
overtones and noise, which playout out between distant memories of 
traditional instruments and thoughts of future dsp wildness.
