this is a great film. we watched it a couple of years back and fell in love. 
Michelle's husband, Patrick is responsible for the film. If you have any 
interest in the Brothers Quay, or Jan Svankmejer then watch this film. 
Totally inspired by them, but with its own destinct personality. It is dark, 
but mysteriously silly start stop animation feature. I don't think there is 
much of an integrated plot or lineage to the film but well worth watching, 
that is next to listening. the film is L'Ange or translated the Angel.
* a favorite part of mine is the bath tub scene with the sound of dripping 
water, and the silly fumbling/frolicking in the library.
well worth it for these scenes alone.
