CUBASE vs. LOGIC - MIDI to AUDIO sync
My name is David and I have worked on Cubase all my life (well, since I
graduated from the MMT8's). I enjoy its interface and find my music making
to be quite intuitive on it. I like the idea of Logic's environments but
plan on getting into this later rather than relearning a whole new system
now. My main concern is this:
I've been told by many that even in professional circles it's questioned
whether or not Cubase can even lock its midi and audio events solid. I've
heard that logic has a very simple and very exact system for syncing midi
and audio events without having to correct and constantly re-correct
individual delays, etc..
If I am misinformed about this PLEASE point me in the direction of some
advice for syncing midi and audio in cubase. I would LOVE to use cubases
audio more ( I have a G3 ) if I could only set a master delay level, save
it, and that's that!!!
Any and all comments are appreciated!
Thanks in advance! -
David
