For the record;
The R. Ikeda's "Matrix" was played on the Sanctuary's
(RagConDesk's East-Coast Office) four systems ranging from
$1.2 to $60K  (detailed listing at
http://pages.zdnet.com/ragcondesk/ragingconsciousnessdesk/id2.html
) - each resulting in varying degrees of the effects posted
earlier. One may have $100K system - improperly set up -
that will not resolve as well as a carefully tweaked
$600.00 set-up. Of course the component choices must work
in synergy as well. A dash of magic fluids, Shakti Stones
or perhaps a zap by the "Exorcist" and a system can snap a
back from the dead and sound transparent, open and musical.
