to any of you trying to reach me for the past week or so:

my previous ISP (FirstWorld) had a hard disc crash which trashed my website
and other data...so in repsonse I switched to PacBell and upgraded my
service to DSL...where I live is more than the prescribed 17,000ft from the
central station so my DSL sync has been spotty...in addition to my service
being weird no-one told me that <kim@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> was not set up for
me but that I had to set this mail box up myself (unlike my previous ISP
who would route <anytext@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> directly to me)...so, after a
week of clueless PacBell technicians, phonecalls and voice mail hell I now
have my connection bugs worked out and hopefully resolved...and I think my
DSL service will be fine due to resolving some hardware issues...
