Re: [microsound] What is Microsound?
I'm after a few choice words from everybody as to their conception
of the term "microsound", a sort of plethora of aesthetic images
this term brings to mind, concepts, texts stray words whatever.
I enjoy the term "microsound" because it suggests an intriguing
image, holding a looking glass (or microscope) up to sound...
exploring details often overlooked, textures not usually heard...
even enlarging tiny elements until they dominate the sound field. It
suggests, in this sense, more an approach than a final product... but
I guess that's what microsound means to me... at least partially...
