somehow I forgot Burkhard's superb solo CD on Durian, Récital, which is the 
best place to start with his music, along with Schnee. he tends to play very 
sparsely and subtly in group contexts, so that even when watching Polwechsel 
play live, he's rarely the center of attention. the nice thing about Schnee 
and Récital is that you can really hear what he's doing.

unfortunately, Récital is out of print at the source, at least temporarily. 
I'm sure there are some copies floating around, though, and I still have a 
few for sale, so contact me directly if interested.
