Patti is obviously an influence, but I wouldn't call it "apeing", just
because PJ decided to pick up the guitar again and sing something
aproximating blues... not as hot as "rid of me", but then how could it be?

good year for female singers nonetheless. pj's, bjorks "selmasongs", cat
power's "covers record", patti's "gung-ho"

sure madonna is more talented, she's had a lot more time to work at it. but
"music" vs. "oops... did it again", no contest, britney's my girl

this thread is getting sicker and sicker... lets end it.
