dreaming of an 80s burnt cover

madonna (obviously the early stuffs, because the 80s are soooooo great
nowadays)and let's say, illusions of safety at the same time. I'm not

one time, back in the days of Inside Agitator i remeber seeing
Dan Burke after shows and even at random parties around Chicago,
one time i went up and asked him what kinds of things he liked
to listen to, when driving or whatnot. among things he
mentioned Madonna. Oddly enough while going about my regular
weekly radio show bizness on 89.3fm a few weeks ago, the phone
rings and it's none other than Dan Burke! What made the situation
particularly cool was that i was airing a track i had made a few
days prior, and he had called in just to say that he just
inadvertantly flipped on the radio and 'really liked what he was
hearing' etc... anyway, before i.o.s. was even mentioned i meant
to comment on the the fact that occasionally i have dreams of
really interesting remix tracks myself (everyday events and
activities often show up in dreams after all) and was wondering if
any musicians on the list have tried to accurately reproduce
such occurences on music they've recorded/released??

he's also "burned" on NUF's Goldenstar "berned" on Leisure Zones!
	;-)
when in a funky lo-fi retro mode i often like hearing the MASK
series that Ae & Co produced using stuff from Duran Duran, Colonel
Abrams, Yaz(zoo), BoogieDownBronx, and all sorts of other fun
	loops recontextualized.
