A Happy 2001 to all!

Not exactly hot off the press, but in the January issue of WIRED 
(yes, the one with the "touch me" cover, the feature's on p55) 
there's a page on the Silophone installation that [The User] 
collective has put together in a silo near/in Montreal. I'd 
discovered this late last year (was it posted on Microsound, in 
fact?) and played a few samples through their remote access feature 
(www.silophone.net), which was fun... so check it out. And if you 
didn't hear their Symphony #1 for Dot Matrix Printers 3" CD, then 
find it and listen, it's wonderful!
