Yes, yes! I loved Sachiko M's short (17m) e.p.,
DEBRIS, on the FMN label.  One piece for sine waves
(zero-memory sampler, I believe), and another for
contact mic (a scraping, percussive thing).  It's a 3"
CD.  I also enjoy the work of the trio I.S.O.,
featuring Otomo and Sachiko M as well as a
percussionnist who also uses live electronics; their
self-titled on Alcohol Records is my favorite, with
LIVE being my second favorite.  None of these sound
like they might be that much like MATRIX, though;
sorry, I haven't heard it yet.
