just buy the peizo discs at 50cents a pop, then you dont have to open any
plastic casings or pay for them.  Open your yellow pages to 'electronics'
and let your fingers do the walking.

how do you actually place the mic flat on a surface for recording if its got
a big old alligator clip on it?
