a gift??

hey all,
about 20 minutes ago i was kicking back listening to my mp3 collection on
random when the strangest thing happened. for no apparent reason this really
weird noise started playing.. kind of a vicious hum that faded in on its own
tempo, but also interacted with the music a little.

it took me a few minutes just to figure out to record my wave output of the
sound card but i eventually got it working and recorded 41 seconds of this
sound.

if you want to take a guess at what this could possibly be, i uploaded it as

and honestly, i didn't do any DSP or anything except for converting the
recorded .wav file to an mp3.
the tune i was listening to at the time was oscar peterson's "three little
birdies" by the way, and you can hear it quite well in the background
although it is distorted.
