Charles & Ray Eames were an amazing couple (humanist archi-designers ?)... i
saw that short film of Charles E., with just the water and bubbles from
washing a concrete floor (like a buble ballet), from different angles, at
different speeds, creating several textures. The movie was projected on the
floor for an exhibition (cooper-hewitt museum), it was very nice (no sound
from what i recall).
very micro°relevant from my point of view...

the interesting thing about this particular piece in the exhibit is
that the eames' always intended it to be shown on the wall. which
creates a far more interesting effect and disassociation from its
physical reality (being a school blacktop)
i dont know why the curators projected it onto the floor.. i thought
it really ruined the impact of it.
i actually remember seeing it in elementary school in the mid 70s..
and i loved it then too...but then i was a weird kid
all the eames films are available on VHS
