microsound gigs in oz

i am currently living in the miserable shithole known as brisbane(where few 
bands ever tour;the ones i want to see anyway) and as a result never hear 
about microsound friendly gigs as they happen in sydney & melbourne (or if i 
do, usually after the fact; one example being sutekh & safety scissors) so i 
was wondering if there was any resource i could get on to find out about 
these things in advance so i get my shit together in time to get down there 
or could someone let me know on the list if things are coming up? it would 
be muchly appreciated. thanks

p.s. i did know about the what is music? festival but am too broke to go 
down... missing out on farmers/hecker/pan sonic et al(dammit!) but tuning in 
to the live stream so thats cool i guess. i'm in hell! will someone tour 
brisbane, pleeease?!?!
