Good luck finding any of Bergman's films of the 1960s on DVD! I found this
period to be his experimental peak in using film (especially the broken
projector in "Persona") as opposed to his focus earlier and later on the
dramatic, yet the distributors seem to find no point in digitizing some of
his best work, although under the influence of these films Tarkovsky and
even Sokurov have now had the DVD treatment. Is there anything else along
these lines that one should hear by Nordgren perhaps?
