CD Architect by Sonic Foundry -- HELP

a friend and i finished mastering a cd for production a few days ago
using "CD Architect by Sonic Foundry". it has 78 indexed tracks, 22:57,
no problems show up, everything seems 100% fine. when you play the cd
through, on the last track (depending on the cd player) it either plays
to the end then skips around in the last track, or, it pauses a few
seconds then the display reads "no disc". -- ??? apparently the
manufacturer doesn't support the software anymore. my friend has
mastered 40 cds the same way and has never had this problem and we've
burned a million copies of this thing trying to get it to work right.
any suggestions?
