Re: [microsound] Pan Sonic 27/03/01 Toronto

Having had an association with both Mika & Ilpo for 6 years now, I can tell
you that (Mika especially) is a very reserved and moody fellow. They stayed
at my house twice and Mika was very silent alot of the time..I do think
that as time passes he is becoming more of a perfectionist and I believe
that Pan sonic are not that happy with alot of the venues and the
organizers? I wouldn't worry about them never coming here again..I'll
surely put on a show. The first two shows they did here were incredible and
I had a religious experience (in Montreal Opa club 1996), so remember the
great sounds...Sure Toronto was a fuck up and a waste of everybody's time
but refunds were offered. Mika told me about a fucking killer event coming
up in Milano, Italy with himself, Carsten Nicolai (Noto) and Ryoji Ikeda
(Installations and performance)...Sounds beautiful. Hope to see fellow
Canadians at Raster weekend in Montreal on April 7. Keep the faith as their
art still lives on!

Regards,

Praveer
