I have to say I'm much more of a fan of Kristians non-beaty stuff. Infact, I
actually never used to like it at all until I say Room Tone on sale and
picked it up. I wasn't expecting to be too impressed until I took a good
listen to it. THen I loved it. Can anyone recomend any of his more
ambient/noise albums?
The "Takoma Narrows Bridge / Someday Anywhere" CD split between Kristian
and SIAN (a quiet and cosmic collaboration of Aube and Monde Bruits) on
Alien8 is fantastic and quite well paired, and although I have not heard
"Room Tone" I have read comparisons of it with this split CD. The Kristian
/ SIAN CD is out of print, according to the Anomalous catalog (where it is
listed), so I would suggest getting it soon. As with the split CD with
Downpour, I bought this one for the other project and was happy to discover
Kristian's contributions.
