I can strongly recommend Brown, Blue, Brown on Blue (for Mark Rothko) as a beatiful and memerizing piece.  Then, Silence is also great. I've heard that he does really interesting live 'shows' involving bringing his studio set-up to the venue and just playing the music for people as he intended it to be heard.
