entomophonia, chants d'insectes
conception et realisation: andre-jaques andrieu & bernard dumortier

this is an amazing cd with recordings of 50 different insects.
it comes with a thick booklet - 200 pages of texts and fotos.
unfortunately the texts are in french only.

it seems these guys had already released a vinyl lp with insect recordings
in 1963.

i don't know whether this has got any distribution - we bought in paris some
time ago.
there is no hint in the booklet apart from the address of the institut:

institut national de la recherche agronomique
147, rue de l'universite
753338 paris cedex 07
france

hope this helps -

dieter

p.s. and yes: the *fairlight* sounds on the graeme revell are annoying, they
make it sound rather dated. of course: it's from the 80's, but it's a pity
that it also sounds like that so obviously ;-)
