sorry to be another of those "can anyone recommend me"-people (and maybe
this should rather have been posted on the lowercase list) but i am strongly 
considering to purchase
the "All Piano" 4CD-set
by morton feldman but don't know if that's a good place to start? i don't
have any other works by feldman
but think it's time to start checking him out. recommendations?

a couple of months ago i got his cd 'Ensemble Recherche'. they're "a chamber 
music group from freiburg dedicated to contemporary music..", as the 
3-point-font-size sleeve notes read. 5 compositions written from 1970 to 
1976. if you can imagine john wall on tranquilizers, semi-conscious under a 
grey-skied, slow-motion sunday afternoon, then you know this cd. definitely 
needs a certain mood and a lot of stamina to be listened to properly.
