worth is relative, but yes for me it has been worth every penny and
more.

i've played arround with other environments like max/msp, reaktor,
and synC and kyma is a more natural and flexable solution especially
when combined with the dedicated hardware which solves latancy and
realtime performance problems which crop up with other environments.
it also can do some niffty spectral stuff that i've only seen in cdp
and csound but in kyma it can be in realtime

i advocate kyma system but i fully understand that it
is not the solution for everyone.
