all computer based audio, laptops everywhere. including local
producers as well as american post-digital microsounder kim cascone.
cascone is currently at the centre of the debate between academic
computer music and digital audio. his audio is full of the sounds of
computers brimming with high end and realtime operable sound
production software. the applications have recently been let loose
from the ties of academia and taken up by the minds of current audio
producers who have, in turn,  pushed them far beyond tape music and
into the area of live improvisation.
