one can transmit data to the other via OTUDP object from CNMAT @ UC
berkeley. you can share data with other software, like superCollider or some
java application if you make, I guess.
using USB hub in audio/midi is no-no: MIDIMAN guy said no to use Hub, since
the hub changes port id or something (IRQ? something about system). 8/8 midi
port from eMagic is said to be stackable, but I don't know if you use Hub or
the USB port on the device itself... Either way, USB stuff cannot have 2
hosts.
