Re: [microsound] ibook and audio

Has anyone attempted any audio stress-tests with the new 500mhz ibook?
I'm curious how it performs running logic/cubase and/or Max/Msp.

i will this weekend.. so i will let you know...

also, just for people's info.. the new iBooks do NOT come with audio
input (the titanium G4s don't either, if i'm correct).. however,
Griffin makes a handy little device called an iMic ($35-ish).. which
is a USB audio input/output device.. it's small and doesn't require
power.. just plug it into your usb port and you have an 1/8" audio
input... that's no worse (and maybe a bit better) than you would get
from the regular built in mac 1/8" input.. i've been using this iMic
and it works great...

so far the ibook has been running very smoothly with digital peformer..
