I just bought an Audiosport Quattro that I'm using on a G3 laptop. It's a
$260, 4 in 4 out USB card with MIDI. If you're using soundmanger it might be
perfect because you can select "USB Audio" as an output in the sound control
panel and it behaves as an sm driven front end (a slight quality improvement
too). The ASIO drivers sound great and work OKish - DP works well, Reaktor
doesn't. There's also a "Duo" with mic preamps for the same price. It's Mac
only at the moment.
