I am not sure where this leads, but I live very close to Canada, in 
Rochester, NY, and travel to Toronto, Montreal, etc... often and find the 
government and culture far more tolerant and the media is not screaming (as 
loud).   Anyway, I hope no one has a problem with me because I live in the 
U.S. , I am a person and do not represent the government or the media.  :)

The video store in Canada that had a Canadian film in the foreign section 
was most likely owned by some US, conglomerate that sucks the identity from 
all it touches, or not.
