thanks for that info.. had no idea who motion was... i picked up the
cd in sheffield (england) .. when i was there. no idea who it was...
but i really like it....
this might have been covered already, but re: taylor deupree's reviews in
the new issue of urb magazine- he favorably reviews a cd (or "LP" as the
article says) by Motion called "Pictures". Motion is Chris Coode from the
UK- he had a split 12" (with Matmos) on FatCat. It's very good subtle music
that reminded me of wunder (karaoke kalk) and earlier oval but
guitar-sourced. Very melodic in its own way. I think this cd is
self-released but FatCat probably carries it.
