Re: installation people
From : Bernard Elsmere <belsmere@xxxxxxxxxxx>
I know this is a tech question, but...
are there any art installation people out there who've set up multiple
(8 or more) channel sound works on a budget? I'm wondering about
synchronising
cheap CD players versus multiple ADATs and the whole amplification
issue...
Any suggestions/resources would be lovely.

don't expect portable cd players to be in sync, especially cheap ones.
decks are more useful in such arenas,
but cheapest (quality, as well as, cash) would be to put the sound on tape,
splitting the tracks for
multiple channels.
