howdy folks.  i watched the south tower collapse from across the river (we
live looking out at lower manhattan from brooklyn)...it was quite
frightening, and something i will never forget, seeing the building implode
like on those demolition films.  it looked bad, but not bad enough for both
towers to collapse.

lots of soot in the air still, as the smoke poured this way...most of it is
clearing, but the reality is going to be hard to take...looking at the blue
sky where the buildings were and thinking of the people lost...
