Well, I've received a lot of worried and comforting letters from pretty much
everywhere today.  I'm pleased to be associated with what I'd regard as good
people and a good community (even if it is virtual).

To all in NYC and all those affected around america who are on this list, I
send my love and sympathies. I sat and watched the news here in the UK, and
there are not words to express the terrible sadness at such tragedy. I truly
hope that the feelings of compassion that must be passing around the world
for you all can be of some small help.
