i'm really scared of people who are able to turn off their emotions within
seconds, and who think of this as a good thing. i'm even more scared of
their "clear thinking".

there is not much more i can say at the moment. i'm still shocked, and i am
just very sad. i try do to do "normal" things, continue with my work, but i
find it very hard to do so. everything looks different than it looked two
days ago.

taylor: last week i listened to the "occur" cd finally, and i immediately
thought of writing to you to tell you how much i liked it.
now it seems so unappropriate to write about things like that.
on the other hand i feel that for some of us including myself music (and
art, and literature) are some of the sources preventing us from getting
paralyzed in total depression facing the state of our world. (i think this
was expressed much better than i can do in the thomas pychon quote which was
posted earlier).

we have been in touch with some of our friends living in ny, and so far all
of them are well. but still we haven't heard of some of them. i very much
hope that all of you out there are safe.
