Glad you posted that, I was gonna drop $460 on a Dell Latitude p2-266Mhz
laptop next month! Guess I'll stick with my P166mmx Thinkpad for a bit
longer (the wife'll have to wait to "inherit" the IBM).

Did your research uncover the fact that most recent Dell laptops have a
cool feature that causes the system fan to freeze the system
(read: stopping audio) when it activates/deactivates?

Sold my Dell. Bought an IBM. Enjoying it.
