re: [microsound] the rise and fall of the microsound dynasty
Just few words to agree with Jean Paul L'Asthme and Stephan Mathieu.
In my opinion it's all the same old story: a stabilization after a fracture
(in deleuzian terms: deterritorializations and reterritorializations...).
The "genre" has its recognizable features; "Click&Cuts" and "Between two
points" are two of their crystallizations (funeral?).
The new always comes from openings (good examples could be Drumm/Sugimoto's
Den or Nakamura/Rowe's Weather Sky).
Hope Mr. Szepanski and friends not to cut down the rhizomes...(uh uh...just
a joke!).
A farewell to Akira Rabelais.
