[microsound] conceptual work / oval / lifestyle-process

_For me_ the greatest sound work fulfills the following requirements:

-It involves some sort of process that removes subjective decision making at
least partially.

-It is autodidactic, putting the composer in the role of listener and
sharpening the composer's awareness.

-If possible it is pleasing to listen to.

A good example of this is mnortham's 'breathing towers'.
A good example of work that is nice to listen to but conceptually weak would
be Brian Eno's sound installations.
A good example of something between the two might be Oval skipping CDs then
editing them into music compositions.
