SONIC BODY
(a working title that's already not quite working)

This is your official invitation to come to one (or two or three or
four) of hum's first workshop showings of a new work created and
performed by collaborators in movement, sound, design and engineering:

Susanna Hood, Katherine Duncanson, Nilan Perera, and Jim Ruxton.

These showings come at the end of a three-week residency at the Theatre
Centre. Drawing on the creative momentum built up during last fall's
collaboration on "still", we have come together again to explore the
generation and manipulation of sound through the interaction of movement
and technology. Much inspiration is being drawn from the space itself
and the visual and aural possibilities it inspires. The interface
between the body and technology is proving to be suprisingly sensual in
nature. The ideas and images are overflowing, so we may show something
different every night!
