resources on new media

greetings all,

im applying to teach a class in sound in new media, but i haven't read about "new media" theory since college (a few years ago). im wondering if anyone can point me to some recent, interesting websites, books, articles, etc. on the subject. i know its a vague buzz word, so anything will help. on or off list as you see fit. thank you.
